A PERSONAL NOTE

Last month I wrote a little about Pluto through last degrees of Capricorn, and Neptune through Pisces. Here are some further thoughts to share:
Whenever Pluto transits (moves through) a zodiac sign, it uncovers the hidden ugliness beneath the surface, defined by the symbolism of that sign. After all, Pluto represents the Underworld. For example, when Pluto transited Scorpio, a sign connected with sexuality, the scourge of AIDS arose. (Pluto spent only twelve years in that sign, its shortest duration, from ‘late ’83 to late’ 95.) By the time it left Scorpio, effective treatments had been devised, and much had been revealed about human sexuality. From late ’95 to late ’08, a 13-year duration, Pluto then moved through the sign of Sagittarius, which represents religion and education among other matters. Pedophilia in the church was outed, and our institutes of higher learning came under the microscope. While these various scourges have not been completely eradicated, you might have a sense that certain categories become highlighted in order to be cleansed, as our mighty dwarf planet does its rounds and dredges up secrets. “The light of day is the best disinfectant.” – SCOTUS judge Louis Brandeis, 1891.
You could go back in time through the zodiac to see what Pluto brought to Libra, Virgo, Leo, etc. but let’s bring things up to the present. Pluto entered Capricorn at the end of ’08 and will remain in that sign until November ’24, a duration of 16 years. What does Capricorn represent? Big Business, Big Government, Big Banking, Big Pharma, and all such institutions. What’s being revealed about all of this? Lots. And it’s ugly. “Follow the money.” Pluto represents power trips too… and isn’t that what’s going on? One way or another, by the end of 2024 this will have been played out, and Pluto’s next impactful task – the transit through the tech sign of Aquarius, a duration of 20 years (!) until 2044 – will begin. That should be interesting!
Do you know what mischief, if any, Pluto is cooking up in your chart in '22?
And what about Neptune, a very different type of energy? Since Spring of 2011, it has been moving through the sign it rules, Pisces, and will stay there until ’26, a duration of 15 years. It symbolizes ideals, psychism, and deception. False hopes and fake news can be evident but so can spirituality, faith, imagination, and compassion. Many people who have latent psychic abilities can see their gifts come forward or be enhanced. Intuition is a keyword for the Age of Aquarius. Trust your gut! People’s fear of death might lessen as we see many examples of NDEs and past-life proofs. Prayer and meditation are becoming more commonplace, and many might have visitations or get messages from their guides.
One night this month, my deceased son Ken woke me from a sound sleep by caressing my cheek, saying in effect what he could never bring himself to say in life, “I love you, Mom.” The experience was as real as if someone alive was in the room – I woke halfway, registered it in my awareness, then went back into deep sleep. This kind of stuff is becoming normal nowadays.

ASTRO TIDBITS - OCT. 2021
In the World horoscope, a turning point is being reached (six planets are retrograde, including Mercury, with three of them going direct this month). The period begins with much pressure regarding all communications (Pluto square Mercury). The 6th indicates a new start for military efforts that might include diplomatic solutions (New Moon in Libra conjunct Mars). The 10th shows pleasantries (NN sextile Venus), and the 11th-13th offers economic steadiness (Saturn sextile Venus). The 18th is an important day for diplomacy and energized hopefulness (Mercury station direct in Libra sextile Venus; Jupiter station direct semi-sextile Neptune, trine Mars).
The U.S. struggles with weakness and vulnerability at first (Neptune square U.S. Mars) but can experience positive domestic changes (U.S. p2Moon sextile U.S. ASC). From the 5th-7th, big conflicts can break out, along with (caused by?) frustrating delays (Mars square U.S. Sun, conjunct U.S. Saturn in H10), while old issues regarding financial matters force a shift even while the media is being heavily controlled (Pluto station direct conjunct U.S. p2SN in H2, opposite U.S. Mercury). Despite some excesses in Week 2 (Mars square U.S. p2Jupiter), indications are for ongoing constructive change (Saturn station direct trine U.S. p2Uranus), and a new cycle for the military (Mars conjunct U.S. p2Mars). There is much talk and/or demands on the 17th (Mars trine U.S. p2Mercury/Mars). The nation is upbeat, popular, strong, bold, and revitalized on the 18th (Mercury station direct in Libra trine U.S. p2Moon; Venus conjunct U.S. ASC; and Jupiter station direct trine U.S. Mars). The 21st is full of arguing (Mars square U.S. Mercury) but the 22nd shows big changes, excitement, and more freedom (Uranus sextile U.S. Sun). Nevertheless, from the 26th-29th, aggression, rage, and even violence is possible (Mars trine U.S. Moon, square U.S. Pluto).
The U.S. Constitution (9/17/1787, 4 PM LMT, Philadelphia PA) is being reinforced and renewed (Pluto station direct trine Constitution Sun exact) via sensible approaches to challenges (Saturn conjunct Constitution ASC/Pluto, sextile Constitution Moon). Faith, not fear, is the path (Jupiter conjunct Constitution Saturn, trine Constitution Jupiter). In January 2022, free speech and positive national change is felt (Uranus station direct trine Constitution Mercury, conjunct Constitution IC).
President Trump, though dealing with some confusion and old problems (Neptune t-square his P2 Uranus, square his Moon), finds increasing empowerment this month (Pluto station direct trine his MC exact). On the 11th he finds practical ways to deal with the nation’s health matters (Saturn station direct trine his Neptune, conjunct his p2 IC in H6). The 18th is an exceptionally happy and fortunate day (Jupiter station direct sextile his Moon, trine his p2Uranus/Sun exact, trine his p2Venus/p2Jupiter in a Grand Air Trine; and Mercury station direct in Libra trine his p2Mars). He’ll get stronger and stronger as the month goes by (Mars conjunct his p2Mars…his Jupiter…his p2Venus…his p2Jupiter… and his p2ASC). By the 28th, he feels loved (Venus conjunct his Moon).
General Mike Flynn will also enjoy greater success in mid-month (Jupiter station direct conjunct his p2MC, trine his NN, and sextile his Mercury).
Fauci is distressed on the 11th (Saturn station direct t-square his Moon and his Jupiter/Saturn). He is either lying or anxious (Neptune square his Mercury).
Obama is greatly challenged, weakened, and upset (Pluto station direct conjunct his Saturn; Neptune opposite his Mars; and Uranus square his Sun).
Hillary Clinton will be hard-pressed to escape her negative karma (as I predicted in April ’21: “Hillary Clinton begins a long period of restriction and problems.”) (Uranus square her Mars/Pluto.)
Nancy Pelosi is blocked and possibly ousted (Saturn square her Saturn; Uranus square her p2MC).
Joe Biden is confused, cognitively pressured, and challenged about his financial dealings (Neptune conjunct his p2Moon; Pluto station direct on his p2Mercury; and Saturn opposite his Pluto in H8).

Book Review: “Wisdom of Souls: Case Studies of Life Between Lives from the Michael Newton Institute" – by Ann Clark, Karen Joy, Joanne Selinske, Marilyn Hargreaves, in Memory of Michael Newton, (Llewellyn, 2019)
Similar to the series of books by Michael Newton himself, the developer of Life Between Lives hypnotherapy and founder of the Michael Newton Institute, now composed of over 200 members, this enlightening and educational offering has carried on his literary legacy. The introduction tells us that the contributors, whose offerings were organized by the four co-authors, included 25 practitioners from the United States, the UK, Australia, Germany, Canada, Sweden, to name but a few, so that their contributions encompass Western Civilization’s outposts, and an assortment of cultures from these countries.
I greatly enjoyed the variety of case studies that are presented here, especially because these past-life revelations are shown to pertain to issues in the individual’s current life as well as the fundamental causes from the revealed past lives. Not only do these interwoven journeys bring helpful awareness to the regress-ee, but in every case the connection to that person’s guides, angels or elders, whatever they can be called, sheds further light on the choices the soul made in each life, and the task or lesson that was to be attempted and learned. This in itself validates the use of the word “wisdom” in the title, a word I very much respect and value, because some of these current or past lives were quite painful but always had a benign purpose.
The case studies are organized by the four authors into categories that include health crises, anxiety and depression, loss, relationships, self-sabotage, family conflict, career and finances, liberation, near-death, and aging and dying. Each category consists of several real-life case studies with some thoughts of introduction to the issue that was being faced, and followed by a summary of insights that the reader can take away from these sessions and their effect or impact on the client.
One can’t help coming away with a sense that all the challenges of any life are specifically designed to bring that soul into greater connection and higher awareness, that we return to each new life with some admixture of souls we were entangled with in previous lives, and that the binding element is very much a sacred mission and a step in a journey towards enlightenment. Not every soul, it is clear, is as awake as need be (in fact, some souls are described as their light being “quite dim”). We learn, perhaps with some surprise, that the abusive father in the past life becomes the abused child in this life, and that everybody including the past ineffectual mother has signed on, so to speak, to play their role and learn from it. The back-up rock musician, who had been a fiery dogmatic priest and also a fawned-over German biplane aviator, now realizes he no longer needs ego attention and can in his next experience concentrate on being an elder (discarnate guide) for others.
As actors in a movie, improvising but with the general script already devised, we all come back again and again until we have mastered some particular attribute of wisdom such as compassion, sacrifice, empathy, courage, unconditional love, and so forth. Because these are cases of real people bringing their history and their baggage, their fears and their neediness into each session, what is grasped, revealed, discovered is universally illuminating.
Besides teaching much wisdom as was revealed from these past-life connections, the book is also satisfying and agreeable as a deep look into people’s interesting lives and multiple challenges. Some of the best tales are from reality. 5 stars.

EVIL AS A CATALYST OF A HIGHER PLAN
Hear us, for we tell you that strife and troubles are but one aspect of life, especially as it plays out on Earth, but there is always at the same time the glorious results of such challenges. In other words, there is a design afoot eternally that causes much in-depth and penetrating understanding as people struggle against obstacles, develop ways to overcome blockages, and pool resources so as to conquer individuals or circumstances considered negative or even evil.
Evil is a strong word, and defines the conscious attempts to harm one’s fellow humans. For when an animal harms another animal or a person, it is not considered evil even if the result is the death of the harmed one because there is no intention. There is only nature, instinct, cunning, and need. In the case of people, this innocence can be sorely lacking for people can intend to harm the other for various reasons that are anything but innocent.
Look, then, upon such behavior with revulsion, but also consider it as your catalyst, motivator, that which would drive you to find solution. And the solution will be a higher level of interaction in society, a kinder, more harmonious place (we almost said, planet, for that is where this is all going) in which to dwell, and an environment where those who intend harm are either eliminated, or corralled, or in some other way removed.
It may never be possible to have a planet-wide consciousness of love and kindness but the plan is to strive for such.
