A PERSONAL NOTE

Sorry I wasn’t able to put out a newsletter last month. A family reunion, a funeral, then the flu, and, to top it all off, then my knee “went out”. Hoo boy! I’m okay now, thanks.
Next year will be my 50th year counseling a very diverse group of clients via astrology, Tarot and AstroDice. Here and abroad, all genders, occupations, ages, and roles… quite fulfilling and eye-opening. But mostly teaching me about life.
As I work with someone’s horoscope, what I’ve learned to see is their unique path. No judgment, no opinion, only, what’s the best way to live it? It’s like God wanted to explore a situation, and the recipient is fulfilling it – not just their own journey but God’s experimentation. We each are dealing with karma (often painful but sometimes great), a task we need to achieve (self-chosen), and a character we’ve agreed to inhabit (your personality). No matter if I, as the astrologer, agree with the wisdom of this or that path… no matter if logic says it will probably lead to a “bad” result… no matter if wild horses couldn’t drag me to live that life… it’s unimportant. My job – my only job – is to help the person observe their circumstances, make better and better choices in living it out, find more light, and celebrate (yes, rejoice) in the blossoming and fruition of that journey.
You’d be surprised at how hard it sometimes is to eject myself from being the judge, the critic, the nay-sayer. It’s hard to get out of the way, yet still encourage and guide the person going headlong on their chosen path. I have to look at every client’s life as their glorious movie, their unique combination of elements and karmic baggage, their current and future situation as God playing the game of being human, and trying on this and that costume, in various eras, genders, jobs, locations, bodies, and so forth.
We’re in a movie we chose (and also were guided into, and also sometimes pushed into). We wanted to be that. It’s a struggle, and at times, real hard. The divine (higher) part of us always stands ready to assist if called upon, but our friends, neighbors, family, and helpers are there as well.
If I do my job right, I empower you. Not sugar-coat. Not evade. Not obfuscate. I help you take back control, even if only as a better mindset. Your job is to check the guidance against your intuition, and if green-lighted, follow it. We’re a team. We walk together through difficulties, and we look forward to the wins. Energy patterns exist. Seeing them, accommodating yourself to them, flowing through them, and reformatting your narrative to best handle it all, is the ticket!

ASTRO TIDBITS - SEPT. 2022
The World kicks the month off with high energy and positive vibes (Jupiter sextile Mars). On the 10th, there is much revision of agreements (Mercury station retrograde opposite Jupiter) and lots of compassion where needed (Full Moon in Pisces). Idealism permeates on the 24th (Venus opposite Neptune), and the 25th shows a good start for relationship matters and diplomacy (New Moon in Libra). Month’s end indicates sensible actions and smart pacing (Mars sextile Saturn).
The U.S. is in a lull (few exact aspects). We remain under confusion and fakery until Feb. ’24 (almost as if America was under a spell!), which pattern is affecting censorship of free speech and propagandized news (Neptune in H3 opposite U.S. Neptune/p2 Neptune). Revised communications are featured on the 10th (Mercury station retrograde trine U.S. NN; Full Moon conjunct U.S. p2 Sun in H3), possibly addressing lies and fakery. The 25th indicates a new start for our nation’s role, with perhaps over-generosity (New Moon square U.S. Venus, conjunct U.S. MC).
Trump feels very empowered now (his P2 Moon conjunct his p2 Mars, sextile his Pluto). He is supported but can’t say what he’d like yet (Saturn trine his NN, opposite his p2 Mercury).
Elon Musk is still dealing with obstacles (Saturn conjunct his Mars) but is in a great position for profit and popularity(his p2 Venus conjunct his ASC). His power and wealth will only grow and grow (Pluto trine his Pluto, sextile his Jupiter).
China does not look strong militarily (Neptune opposite its p2 Mars), but is very blessed in the field of technology (its p2 Venus conjunct its Aquarius ASC).
Putin is under strain and "thrown a curve ball" that he must suddenly deal with (Uranus square his NN/p2 Mars).

Book Review: “The Source Field Investigations: The Hidden Science and Lost Civilizations behind the 2012 Prophecies” – by David Wilcock, (Dutton, 2011)
In this huge tome, author Wilcock pulls together much little-known scientific research to propound a vision that he expected would reach its apotheosis in the year 2012. Among so very much material, he synthesizes scholarship about free energy, the pineal gland, precession, the Great Pyramid, time and gravity, the Mayan Calendar, and a Golden Age. From our present vantage point in the year 2022, we know of course that 2012 brought no such grandeur and in fact resulted in the very mixed-up, almost insane world that we are currently dealing with.
The scope of his findings is vast. He bounces from geometric forms to the light retention quality of the pineal gland; from plant behavior to studies of shared consciousness; from ancient symbols on coins to precessions of the ages; from the new age prophecies to the Great Seal of the U.S.; from gravity to its opposite, levity; from DNA to the fundamental field of origination (the Source Field); from the Great Pyramid to healing frequencies; and much more!
By interweaving and correlating many of these obscure theories and findings, he reaches very interesting conclusions about the nature of gravity (a wave and not a force), DNA (stores light), human evolution (in millennial spurts, guided, not Darwinian); space-time (our reality) versus time-space (possibly the astral plane [my definition]); love and a dimensional shift; and the Source Field itself (gravity, time, creation). At one point, he proposes a condition of time-slips in which contemporary objects have been found embedded in very ancient deposits. He spends pages explaining how we are in a lucid dream, popping in and out between dimensions. Not only does he present all this little-known scientific research but he intertwines very different disciplines to come up with logical principles behind many metaphysical beliefs, and manages to do so in an organized, readable way.
His theories and conclusions are, in themselves, plenty of good reason to tackle this clever book. Although his point about the Mayan calendar alluded to in the book’s very title has proven inaccurate, he allows that the math might have been interpreted incorrectly, with the year 2016 rather than 2012 being the correct one. (What happened that year that could consequentially affect humanity’s ability to reach the prophesized Golden Age?) If nothing else, this book is very worth a look. 5 stars

CORE IDENTITY CAN WEATHER BIG CHANGES
In the beginning of any new era, there are many changes to adapt to, often disturbances of the status quo, and lots of confusion as to new terms of the changed societal parameters. We say that these changes can be stimulating as long as one stays fluid and flexible, and sees all newness as interesting challenge or creative opportunity. It is when there is great resistance to change that any new era feels uncomfortable, difficult, and even untenable.
Now, how does one go about allowing the space in one’s mind and also the restructuring of one’s day to be absorbed, integrated, allowed, and even embraced? It is by altering your mindset.
Look at who you are. Look at your identity. Look at what comprises your identity. Break it down into components. Is your identity a member of a family, a group, a community? Is your identity based on your job? Is it based on your social status? Is your identity based on your image as contrasted by what is at the moment trendy or esteemed? Looks, status, finances, or even more imprecise things like race, ethnicity, intelligence… any and all of these things can constitute your current identity, and in fact there are many more items not here mentioned that also go into play.
But what exactly are you, and what are you truly doing here, living your life? If you go deeply into the question of identity, you may find that the true you is the inner self, your soul, dialoguing with you all the time, and if your core self reduces to this interior dialogue then what does it matter if the exterior world is undergoing large and rapid change, for you are still you in there, and always will be through eternity. That is to say, consciousness survives and continues, and everything else is backdrop. This may help to weather dramatic change in your everyday world.
