This past April, the growth of our National Arab American Heritage Month movement—launched in 2017—was challenged. Some state governors who had previously issued proclamations withdrew their support, succumbing to the wave of anti-Arab hate sparked by October 7. Despite these obstacles, our efforts prevailed: over 150 proclamations, including 37 state governors, were issued.
This year, we proudly recognized 90 rising Arab American leaders in the Class of 2024 through our 40 Under 40, 30 Under 30, and 20 Under 20 programs. Since its inception in 2020, this initiative has honored over 400 young Arab Americans who exemplify leadership, resilience, and pride in their heritage.
Lastly, since its launch in 2007, our renowned national website, www.arabamerica.com, has served as an invaluable resource, educating thousands about Arab and Arab American identity and culture through a collection of over 20,000 pieces of content.
Additionally, our highly regarded Arab America E-News reaches 75,000 email subscribers weekly, delivering essential information and updates on events that impact the Arab American community.
Will you stand with us once more to reclaim our dignity, celebrate our identity, and uphold the cherished value of extending a helping hand?
