Welcome to the SSPR Pulse, your beat on all things media and social media in the great big world of PR.
1. Capture the spirit of the season. Incorporate summer fun into your content – contribute to fun pieces about your favorite beach read 🏝 , or how you make the most of your employees’ summer with a killer vacation policy.

2. Share often! Stay on top of industry trends and leverage that information to help get in front of relevant, industry experts and potential customers.

3. Think about timing. Summer is not only when you're taking vacation but when reporters put in a little R&R, as well. Be mindful of holidays like Fourth of July 🇺🇸 and Labor Day when planning your next product launch or company announcement.

4. Get creative . Summer is a great time to get creative on social media and try some new things. Why not experiment with multimedia? Memes, GIFs, videos 🎥 – play around a bit and see what sticks!

5. Brainstorm! Between beach vacations and Summer Fridays, it can be tough to capture reporters' attention. By planning a few brainstorming sessions 🧠 with your PR team, together you can develop new and exciting angles that your favorite journalist will be sure to notice.
