St. Jude's Family Newsletter!

Welcome to the summer issue of the St. Jude's Family Newsletter! We hope that you are having a restful summer and enjoying some quality family time. This mid-summer issue of the St. Jude's Family Newsletter will offer some ways to stay engaged with our parish community through fellowship, fun, and faith inspired activities! Next month we look forward to our annual Parish Festival. In addition, religious education registration is now open so be sure to sign up by Sept. 16!

A reminder of tonight's Family Backyard Adoration - sign up here! There is also a Youth Car Wash this Sunday from 10:30 - 1. All proceeds will be donated to the Missionaries of Charity in Bridgeport. We need teen volunteers! Email if you are interested in helping out!

Summer Rosary Challenge

Join the Summer Family Rosary Challenge to keep the Rosary alive in our families this summer!

All participants will receive a beautiful Marian Rosary pouch (while supplies last)

It is such a rewarding experience and a great way to share your Catholic Faith! Email Alice Teixeira if you are interested in volunteering!

Resource of the Month

Catholic Social Teaching for Youth

This is a great resource for Catholic parents as they teach their children the truth on all of our modern moral and social issues. With full Imprimatur from the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis, the book effectively teaches what is true, while inviting your child into what is also beautiful.

It is organized around the themes laid out by the USCCB, and includes 31 Catholic Social Teaching topics, from the Dignity of the Human Person, through the Call to Family, Solidarity, Care for the Land and Workers Rights.

We have a Parish copy that you and your family can borrow and are looking into a shareable digital copy. If you are interested, e-mail Jessica.
