Dear Our Lady Families and Friends,

Gathering, Growing & Something New at Our Lady of the Rosary

Summer is still very much with us, but there is always something beautiful to discover -- and something new taking shape -- at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery & Prayer Gardens.

Join Us for the 4th Saturday Garden & Gather

August in the Gardens

This month, we hope you’ll join us for a relaxed summer morning at Garden & Gather, learn about the opening of our new Angelic Garden, and save the date for a special Rose Pop-Up Sale coming this October.

🌿 August Garden & Gather

Saturday, August 22 | 8:00–10:00 a.m.

Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery & Prayer Gardens

330 Berry Lane, Georgetown

Come spend a summer morning with us at our August Garden & Gather!

We’ll be gathering near the Information Kiosk and cemetery map for a casual morning of conversation, refreshments, and time together in the gardens.

This month, we’ll have a simple Botanical Hand Fan activity — perfect for an August morning in Texas — along with cool refreshments, including blueberry green tea and Georgia peach tea, plus a few light breakfast treats.

There is no formal program and no need to stay for the entire morning. Stop by for a few minutes, make a fan, enjoy something refreshing, visit with us, or take a peaceful walk through the cemetery grounds.

We would love to see you.

🤍 Introducing the Angelic Garden

We are pleased to announce the opening of the Angelic Garden, one of the newest garden areas at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery & Prayer Gardens.

Centered around the beautiful Resurrection Angel, the Angelic Garden is being created as a peaceful garden of roses, flowering trees, and places for quiet reflection. As the garden continues to grow and take shape, we are inviting members of our community to become part of its story.

 ******************************

Sponsor a White Marble Cloud Bench

The Angelic Garden will feature 12 white marble cloud benches, creating peaceful places for families and visitors to sit, remember, pray, and enjoy the beauty of the garden.

Each cloud bench is available for sponsorship for $6,000, including inscription and installation. The benches are also designed to accommodate the placement of up to two cremation urns, offering families another meaningful memorial option within the Angelic Garden.

*******************************

Sponsor a Crepe Myrtle Tree

We are also offering the opportunity to sponsor a crepe myrtle tree that will be planted by the cemetery around the perimeter of the Angelic Garden.

As the trees mature, their graceful forms and summer flowers will help frame the garden and bring additional beauty, color, and shade to this special place for many years to come.

Sponsoring a cloud bench, crepe myrtle tree, or both is a wonderful way to help establish the Angelic Garden while creating a lasting connection to Our Lady.

For information about Angelic Garden burial spaces, cloud bench sponsorships, or crepe myrtle sponsorships, please contact the cemetery office at 512-863-8411 or reply to this newsletter.

We look forward to watching this new garden grow into an increasingly beautiful place of remembrance, reflection, and peace.

🌹 Save the Date: Rose Pop-Up at October Garden & Gather!

Saturday, October 24

This fall, we’re planning a very special Rose Pop-Up Sale as part of our October Garden & Gather.

Roses have long been part of the beauty and character of Our Lady, and we would love to encourage even more of them throughout the cemetery. Our October pop-up will focus especially on beautiful, lower-growing rose varieties that can work well within cemetery spaces while helping keep monuments visible.

We are currently planning the selection and sourcing of the roses, and we’ve created a Rose Pop-Up Early Interest List to help us prepare.

🌹 Interested in our October Rose Pop-Up? Join the Rose Pop-Up Early Interest List to receive first notice of available rose varieties, pricing, and pre-order information.

There is more information to come, but for now, save Saturday, October 24 and let us know if roses might be in your future!

Thank you for being part of the community that makes Our Lady of the Rosary such a unique and beautiful place. We look forward to seeing many of you in the gardens this August.

Kind regards,

Sophia Buchanan
