September is Attendance Awareness Month!
Did you know that missing just 10% of school days (two days per month) can significantly impact a child's academic success? King County Housing Authority, the Puget Sound Educational Service District and many others are teaming up to raise awareness about the importance of attendance. The Road Map Project is a region-wide effort aimed at improving education to drive dramatic improvement in student achievement from cradle to college and career in South King County and South Seattle.
