RAISE A RACQUET IN ACTION
Six $500 scholarships were funded in partnership by Raise a Racquet and the Kenny Huffman Memorial Foundation. The recipients are from the 14th, 15th and 16th regions in Eastern Kentucky. The 2022 Kenny Huffman Memorial Tournament will be held July 29 - 31. Registration deadline is July 26! See all scholarship winners. Hilal Sofyan pictured.

Drop Shots leagues are wrapping up across the state. Second session registration is open in Louisville. Register Now More info to come on leagues in other cities!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Tri-Level Sectionals will be in Louisville again this year, October 14-16. We will be playing across six to eight different locations where volunteers will help by greeting and assisting players from across the Southern Section. Some duties include; providing balls, introducing teams/players to one another, and keeping tournament staff updated as needed. For more information on shifts and/or to sign up, please Volunteer Coordinator, Rachel Carlock.

The Ryan Holder Junior Championship is right around the corner in Lexington. This Level 5 Open is one of Kentucky’s longest running and prestigious junior events. Excellent facilities and deep fields should make this one of the most attractive events on the tournament calendar. Deadline to register is July 31st.

ADULT 65 & OVER INVITATIONAL
The Adult 65 & Over Invitational is September 9 – 11 at the Louisville Tennis Club.  It’s time to start gathering your players to be ready for registration in TennisLink. Registration opens July 31 and closes on August 31. Webpage
TRI LEVEL
Tri-Level Leagues that have completed, be sure to check with your Local League Coordinator about advancing to the State Championship. Tri-Level State will be in Owensboro September 23-25. Winning teams will advance to play in Louisville at Sectionals October 14-16!
SINGLES LEAGUE
Singles League is in full swing in several local areas, with over 500 players participating! This new team league consists of three singles courts for every match. Matches are played within your same NTRP levels and age division, same as Adult League. If your area is not offering the league yet, please reach out to your Local League Coordinator for more information. Initial Roster Deadlines for this league is August 28th. This means any/all teams planning to advance/participate in the State Invitational Championship must be registered in TennisLink by this date. Location of the Invitational is yet to be determined. WOMENS PRO TENNIS
The Women's Hospital Deaconess 2022 Classic, a USTA Pro Ciruit Event is July 18 - 24 at the Wesselman Tennis Center. Play starts daily at 9:00 am. Admission is free.

2022 Cincinnati Open Clinic at Lindner Family Tennis Center on August 20 held on court 12 & 13. 10-11am ages 5-11 and 11am-12pm ages 12-18. Each child is paired with a volunteer based on their individual needs. For more information about registering your child or volunteering.
