We have very exciting news to share with you all about a brand new Forms, Transaction Management & Electronic Signing tool. Greater Alabama Multiple Listing Service is bringing Remine Pro and Remine Docs+ to our subscribers. Remine Pro will give GALMLS members the tools to search, display listing data, public records, and client interaction as well as the ability to keep you and your consumers engaged during their home-buying process. Remine Docs+ is a collaborative, cloud-based transaction management end-to-end document creation, which includes e-signature, multi-party collaboration, and transaction management all-in-one place. This will offer all the documents you need + the backing and support of Remine technology.

Our MLS Board of Directors is dedicated to finding the best ways to bring the best resources to our subscribers and we believe collaborating with our neighbors FMLS (First Multiple Listing Service) to bring these services will do just that. We are excited about bringing you a more robust and more reliable electronic form platform that is "FREE" to our subscribers. Remine Docs+ will give the GALMLS subscribers access to the Birmingham Association of REALTORS® and the Alabama Association of REALTORS® forms, MLS Data, Alabama statewide tax and public data records; in fact, remine Pro provides GALMLS with nationwide tax data at no charge to you.  In addition to the benefits of having the Remine Suite of services, agents will also now be able to view any listings within FMLS directly in your GALMLS Paragon System as part of a new complete data share

Existing-Home Sales Slid 5.4% in June

  • Existing-home sales declined for the fifth straight month to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 5.12 million. Sales were down 5.4% from May and 14.2% from one year ago.
  • The median existing-home sales price climbed 13.4% from one year ago to $416,000, a new record high.
  • The inventory of unsold existing homes rose to 1.26 million by the end of June, or the equivalent of 3.0 months at the current monthly sales pace.

All Written Offers Must Be Presented to Your Client
The Alabama REALTORS® Legal Office is continuing to receive reports from across the state about offers not being presented to sellers if the offers are not written or presented in the listing agent’s preferred form, such as the listing agent’s local association or brokerage forms.

Did you know that Mobile/Manufactured homes on leased land or that are being sold without land, are not authorized to be entered into the MLS?

MLS Rules section 1.1 B states, “The MLS does not accept the following types of listings….Mobile/Manufactured Home Without Real Property.”

Recently, MLS staff have been receiving an increased number of reports and questions regarding this issue. If you currently have a property listed that does not include the land, it will need to be cancelled.
