Campus Security Update
Starting on Sunday, November 23rd we will be employing a security firm that will handle security for our church campus during our worship services and campus events. We will have three armed guards on campus each Sunday. One will be in plain clothes and will be attending both services each week. The other two will be patrolling the campus and assisting with traffic control. We are very happy to be partnering with this security firm and offering our congregation the security needed to make everyone as safe as possible during their time of worship.
Please note that New Life Church does have a policy against open carry of weapons on our
campus. If anyone is seen with an open carry weapon they will be asked to leave the campus
immediately. With the hiring of the security firm, we know that concealed carry is permitted in
the State of Florida but we are asking that in the event of a security event that the congregation please let the security team handle any emergency as they see fit. As you can imagine with the size of our congregation it would be impossible for the security team to know who are congregation members and who might be the immediate threat. We do not want to put anyone in harms way by accident or otherwise. We are thankful for this team in providing us the safety needed for a campus of our size and we thank our congregation for their cooperation in making this a safe and welcoming campus for everyone to enjoy.

Foster Care Christmas Gifts
If you picked up a gift tag for a foster child please return your UNWRAPPED gift(s) by attaching the gift tag(s) and place them in the appropriately numbered bin located in the Life Center outside room 2. Gifts MUST be dropped off no later than Sunday, November 30th! As a reminder, please try to keep the total purchase to $25 per child and do not include clothing as part of your gift.
| | |
Do you enjoy wrapping Christmas Gifts?
We need 20 volunteers to skillfully wrap over 300 gifts that we are collecting for our foster children. We plan to have a HUGE gift wrapping “party” on Tuesday, December 2nd in the Life Center. No RSVP is necessary; simply come between the hours of 10 am and 12 noon that day.
We will provide all of the colorful wrapping paper, scotch tape, bows, ribbon, and gift bags for those odd-shaped items. You are merely asked to bring a joyful spirit and your favorite pair of scissors.
If you have questions about this special Foster Care Christmas project, please contact our Director of Youth Ministries, Tim Buck, by emailing him at tim@newlifeforall.church or call him at church 941-639-3842.
Thanks in advance for your help and support of the Foster Children of Charlotte County.

Prayer Requests and Homebound Updates
We are trying to make sure we never miss an opportunity to pray for someone in need. If you
have a prayer request we are asking that you please fill out a yellow prayer card and drop it in
the offering box or email your prayer request to prayerteam@newlifeforall.church and the
prayer team will check this mailbox on a regular basis. We are really trying to streamline this
process and make sure we never miss a prayer request. We thank you for your cooperation in
helping us better organize this process.
We are also working on updating our database and want to make sure we have everyone that is either in an assisted living facility or homebound on our lists to make sure they are receiving
the love, visits and prayers from our church. If you know of someone that falls into either one
of these categories, please contact the church office and let us know. Thank you in advance for
your help with this meaningful task.

Word from Worship
Rosie Young, Worship Coordinator
rosie@newlifeforall.church
Greetings New Life Church friends and family,
As we approach this week of Thanksgiving, after initial thoughts of turkey and all the fixings, I hope we all can take some time to think about what we're grateful for. For some, I know that's not always easy to do. Years ago when I was having numerous severe medical problems for lengthy periods of time, I found that I could only begin with simple, basic things. Each day I would write five things that I was grateful for; the sun shining or the beautiful green trees and plants. It may sound silly, but it helped me to focus on thanking God for everything. Now, my gratitude list is filled with things like family, including my church family who surround me with love every day. I am grateful for New Life Church and each of you who support and love me every week. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with love.
I'm praying for you!
