Surviving the Holidays, November 16
Have you or someone you know experienced the death of a loved one? No matter how long it's been, grief can make the holidays a painful time, but there is hope. Our GriefShare program is once again offering an encouraging seminar to help those dealing with grief survive the holidays and discover new reasons to enjoy them again. We want to encourage you to sign up for this 2 hour seminar today, and join us Saturday, November 16 in the Life Center from 10am until Noon. Seating is limited, so reservations are required. For reservations or information, please call or text Melodie Austin at 941-661-0842 or you may email her at melharryaustin@yahoo.com.
Reservations must be made before Monday, November 11th.

First Steps, November 17
Are you considering becoming a member of New Life Church? Or, do you just want to know more about who we are and what God is calling us to be and do?
Then, join us for our First Steps Class, on Sunday, November 17th at 2:00 pm in the Life Center.
This 2-hour session will be led by Pastor Mike as he takes you through what it is to be a Christian, and specifically, a Christian who worships, grows, and serves at New Life in Christ Church.
Sign-ups are extremely helpful to ensure we have enough materials and goodies for all.

Photos Needed for our Database!
Thank you to those who have already submitted a photo for our church database! To assist those who still need a photo, we are going to set up a Sunday Morning photo "studio" November 10 & 17 between services to take your photo.
We would like to have as many photos of our members and regular attenders in the church database as Pastor Casey prepares to join us. Being able to match a photo with a name will help him get to know us, and we need your help!
We do have some photos, but there are many more that we do not have.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Please note: If you use our Church Center app (we hope you do!!) it is easy to upload your photo in the Profile & Settings: Profile & Settings > Contact & profile information > Update Photo

Operation Christmas Child
Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes will be available for you and your family to pick-up this Sunday and November 3rd in the Life Center. The New Life Church goal is to pack 200 shoeboxes and 75 (BASBO) “Build A Shoebox Online.” Operation Christmas Child has three main shoebox goals for 2024: Make them FUN (include a WOW Item), Pack them FULL, and Make them PERSONAL (the “Let’s Be Friends” page; a note or photo). All shoeboxes will have labels already on them so just check the GIRL or BOY box and the AGE of the child on the label BEFORE you return it. Inside each shoebox is a “How To Pack A Shoebox” brochure, a “Let’s Be Friends” page (to make it PERSONAL), and a Prayer Bookmark to guide you to pray over your shoebox and for Operation Christmas Child. The “How to Pack a Shoebox” brochure has a self-addressed, stamped envelope to mail your $10 per shoebox check to Samaritan’s Purse to cover shipping and other expenses. You can also activate your FOLLOW YOUR BOX label online with your $10 donation. Please do not put any money inside the shoebox! The Deadline to Return your shoeboxes to the Life Center is Sunday, November 17th. Need more time? The New Life Church Drop Off Center Gazebo will be open from 10:00 a.m. – Noon every day beginning November 18th until Monday, November 25th at NOON. Thank you for supporting Operation Christmas Child to Spread the Gospel to Children Around the Globe!
