GUEST ARTIST NEWS
Over the last year, IKOF guest artist Zlata Chochieva has had a very busy and productive year, moving from Russia to Berlin, Germany, engaging in several new recording projects, and gracing the cover of the International Pianist magazine. Wow!  Congratulations Zlata!

We recently contacted 2014 Odyssiad® winner, Jeffrey Chin, to catch up with him six years later.

The Dynamic:  It has been a long time since you were a winner in the International Keyboard Odyssiad® & Festival, U.S.A. Can you fill us in on your musical journey after IKOF?

Jeffrey: 2014 seems such a long time ago. How time has passed!

Read Jeffrey's full interview, including his thoughts about being selected as a Lang Lang Scholar for the 2018 - 2020 cycle.
SOIRÉE SERIES
IKOF was able to host one Soirée before the shutdown, but there have been wonderful Soirées in the past.

The Soirée Series typically consists of four concerts throughout the year. Each of the four Soirées features an
internationally themed mini-concert by a selected Odyssiad® artist and a feast of gourmet food and
refreshments.

Enjoy some photos of the Spanish Soirée featuring the Atlantis Piano Duo (Sophia Hase and Eduardo Ponce) from the University of Salamanca, Spain.

A MUSICAL ODYSSEY
Up Next - Roberto Plano
Italian pianist Roberto Plano, Associate Professor at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, performs with his family in IKOF's new video series, A Musical Odyssey.
Our new project, A Musical Odyssey, aims to maintain the Odyssiad® Festival's presence this year with a series of informal videos produced by previous IKOF guest artists and Odyssiad® winners from 2012 — when IKOF was founded — to 2021 when we celebrate our tenth anniversary. Many thanks to our artists in the IKOF family who contributed voluntarily to this project from their homes and studios around the world, some with their pets or family members, some serious, some hilarious, all welcome and entertaining.

A Musical Odyssey presents these informal videos approximately every two weeks throughout the year for your enjoyment in viewing our artists in an informal and more personal way. Videos are being shared via email and on our website.
STAY TUNED AND STAY HEALTHY!
