This month we feature Susan Spelius-Gannon

IKOF Board Member Susan Spelius-Gannon lives with her award-winning novelist husband, Steve Gannon, in Sun Valley, Idaho, where they are avid skiers and are currently building a second home in the mountains of Idaho close to the Payette River (where they are also expert kayakers). Susan's two sons, Andrew and Michael, are extreme sports skiers and kayakers and spend a lot of time filming productions of their adventures, while her brother, Chris, is a former Olympian who runs a kayaking tour business in South America. Susan earned her MM degree in Piano Performance from Colorado State University studying with Janet Landreth, and took doctoral classes at CU-Boulder before later moving with her family to California. After their return to Idaho, she and Steve founded the Sun Valley Artist Series and sponsored many concerts by renowned artists in Sun Valley during their tenure with SVAS.
