Join us Saturday, March 26 from 9 to 11 a.m. for Breakfast with the Easter Bunny! There will be breakfast, crafts and photos with the Easter Bunny. Costs are $2 Child Breakfast, $4 Adult Breakfast, $2 Child Craft and $5 for a photo.

You are invited! Please join us in celebrating the Lenten season with Fish and Loaves every Wednesday through March 16. This free community meal begins at 5:30 and the menu for this week is barbeque, cole slaw and green beans . After the meal there will be fellowship and devotion. No hassles, no problems, just some good food and a great time to get to know some new friends.

The Nicaragua Mission team would like to thank everyone for attending the Silent Auction Fundraiser and the amazing donations we received. Thanks to the huge group effort. About $6,000 was raised for our trip in July! Thank you!

Our church will be serving dinner to IDT on Saturdays April 9, May 14 and June 11. We have a core group, led by the Coopers, that is going to go on all these evenings, in order to develop relationships and consistency. But more hands are always welcome and needed. These are the family nights for the IDT residents, so we will provide meals for 50-70 people and lead a devotional time. For each of these evenings, we would like to have a couple small groups provide the meals and either go or coordinate providing the food. If you prefer to donate funds, we can buy the main course and make sides. If your group would like to do this, please let Claire Farrand know: (317) 372-8539. We also were asked not to provide gift bags for each resident. The residents are not allowed to have treats for security reasons, although general food donations to IDT are welcome. Thanks for all you are doing to support this mission!

The Hope House Hustle, a family focused run/walk that benefits The Hope House of Churches in Mission, will be April 2. The event will be held at Pioneer Park, 1101 Indianapolis Rd. Registration opens at 8 a.m., with the run/walk at 9 a.m. There will also be a half-mile family walk. The cost is $25 for adults, $15 for youth or $60 per family. This will benefit the Hope House of Churches in Mission and their mission to build family unity through education and workshops for low income households, while sharing the love of our Savior. You will find more information or to register, go to churchesinmission.org and select the 'Events' tab. Copies of the registration are also available at Churches in Mission.

We will be placing white tulips in the sanctuary Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday. THIS is the LAST week to order a tulip. Please fill out the information in the bulletin and place in the offering plate or return to the office. The cost is $10.00 and payment is due at the time of your order.

On March 20, United Methodist Women will once again be selling their yummy Easter eggs. They will be set up in the Fellowship Hall from 9:30 to 10:30. Cost is $5 per egg.

First United Methodist Church is currently putting together a coed, adult (age 18 or older) softball team that will compete with other church teams. The season will begin this spring. There may be a minimal fee. If you have any questions or are interested in joining, please call Greg Duncan at (765) 341-6180.

Help us encourage our college kids during finals and let them know that their home church is praying for them. We will be sending a letter of encouragement along with a $10 gift card to fast food restaurants or coffee shops. You can help by praying for our kids, picking up a couple of gift cards and placing them in the offering plate during the month of March. Give us names and addresses of your college kids. Only two weeks until our Easter cantata "Witnessing Love, Receiving Hope" will be performed!  The performance will be held on Sunday, March 20 at 4 pm and will be followed by refreshments in the Fellowship Hall. Invite your friends and family to this worshipful event! 

The Asbury Circle will be meeting Tuesday, March 15 at 1 p.m. in the Parlor. Our hostess, Grace Langley, will provide delicious refreshments. Please come hear devotions by Marty Butzow, and enjoy an inspirational program by Catherine Bennett. Speaking of Catherine, she will be celebrating a BIG birthday this month! Please join us in wishing happy birthday to Theresa Gill, Catherine Bennett and Nancy Watson. Everyone is welcome to join us March 15 for a fun afternoon!

Summer camp is just around the corner. Registration has begun and runs through June. Early bird pricing ($30 off the regular camping fee) ends April 18. Be sure to get your camper registered ASAP! Are you looking for an opportunity to serve the children of our church? Here it is! Sunday school teachers are needed. Preschool has begun registration for the 2016-2017 school year. Intent to Register forms can be found in the children's hallway or downloaded from the church website. This is the 20th year of our preschool being in session, so watch for all kinds of exciting events going on to commemorate this awesome milestone!
