Join us as we celebrate Tu B'Av—the Jewish holiday of love—with one of the greatest love stories ever told:

The Princess Bride. 


Here's what to expect:

🎟️ 7:30 p.m. – The fun begins with lawn games and a short film from Israel

🎬 8:30 p.m. – The Princess Bride begins at dusk

⭐️ Bring a lawn chair or blanket

🍿 Free popcorn and water provided

🚚 Shawarma food truck on site serving dinner and snacks for purchase

Help Deliver the Sweetness of the High Holy Days


For many in our community, attending High Holy Days services and celebrations isn't possible because of age, illness, or limited mobility. That's why our Community Chaplaincy Program delivers special holiday gift bags filled with apples, honey, treats, and heartfelt greetings—bringing a taste of the High Holy Days directly to their door.


We're looking for volunteer drivers to help deliver these gift bags with a smile. 

Delivery Days: Wednesday, September 9 and Thursday, September 10.


If you have a car and an hour or two to spare, this is a simple way to make a meaningful difference. We'll provide everything you need, including pickup information, delivery instructions, and gift bags.
 

Help ensure that our neighbors know they are remembered, cared for, and connected during the High Holy Days. Because no Jew should ever feel alone.

For Dani Kopstein Fisher, leading the Harry Kay Center for Leadership Excellence is more than a new job—it's a full-circle moment. And as she begins this exciting new chapter as Director, the Harry Kay Center is also looking for a part-time Associate to join her team.


Years ago, Dani participated in the Harry Kay Leadership Institute as a member of its tenth cohort. Today, she's returned to lead the organization that helped shape her own leadership journey, inspiring and developing the next generation of Jewish leaders across the Twin Cities.


The Harry Kay Center—a partnership between the Minneapolis and St. Paul Jewish Federations—is seeking a part-time Associate to support leadership programs, events, and community engagement throughout the Twin Cities. It's a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about Jewish community and making a lasting impact.
