2022 Stand-Up Meetings
Our CPH Stand-Up Meetings will continue in 2022! Stand-Up gives all of us an awesome opportunity to come together to discuss important items that impact all of us, to celebrate our college and individual successes, and stay connected to each other.

The first one is TODAY, Monday, January 10th at 9am and will continue every 2 weeks throughout the academic year. An invitation has already been emailed, so please add to your calendars accordingly.

Dr. Teresa M. Waters was recently reappointed as Chair of the Department of Health, Management, and Policy (HMP) academic department at the University of Kentucky's College of Public Health.
Effective January 1, 2022, Dr. Angela "Angie" Carman is promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in the Health, Behavior, and Society academic department at the University of Kentucky's College of Public Health.
The 2022 Martin Luther King Unity Breakfast on the morning of January 17th celebrates the impact of Martin Luther King and brings together impactful speakers to help carry his unifying message forward. This virtual event airs on WLEX and is open to the entire community.

The UK health colleges, including the College of Public Health, are coming together to be a sponsor of this year's event.
The University of Kentucky Research Leadership Academy (RLA) is a multi-component program with three independent tracks which will accelerate the development of aspirational research leaders.

The RLA is an immersive program focused on research leadership career development, complex programmatic grant proposals, and emerging themes in research and creative work.
KIPRC
Annual report on drug overdose deaths among Kentucky residents from 2016 to 2020 identified using electronic death certificates. Topics in the report cover deaths by drug type, sex, race, armed forces status, and intention.

KyOD2A Happenings, a quarterly newsletter produced by KIPRC, examines ways to use data to reduce the burden of drug use and overdoses in Kentucky.
