Our newest edition of CATalyst, the official college magazine, is here! The Spring 2022 edition showcases the successes of our health champions — students, alumni, professors, faculty, researchers, community, partners, and more — impacting Kentucky and beyond!
CPH is excited to sponsor the 2022 National Public Health Week (NPHW), a week focused on shedding light on public health issues, celebrating the impact public health has on the world, and bringing awareness to the field of public health. All events on campus are free and open to the public.

For National Public Health Week, this panel of public health leaders will discuss health equity and social determinants of health through a variety of lenses and will shed light on what can be done to improve the health of all Kentuckians.

CPH welcomes a new faculty member, Dr. Christopher McLouth, to the Biostatistics department effective March 1, 2022. In this new role, McLouth will continue to be a core member of the Biostatistics Consulting and Interdisciplinary Research Collaboration Lab (Biostat CIRCL) group.

Grace Bush's moment at the seat of government in Frankfort was one additional step in CPH's mission to conduct research that increases our understanding of brain injury. For Grace, this journey started early as she experienced a traumatic brain injury in an accident as an infant.
On May 04, 2022, the United in True Racial Equality (UNITE) will host the 2022 UNITE Research Showcase, which is centered around elevating and promoting the importance of racial equity research at the University of Kentucky, across the Commonwealth, and beyond. The UK College of Public Health is a co-sponsor.
