Dr. Xiaoran Tong is a post-doc research fellow in (NIEHS) Biostatistics and Computational Biology Branch (BCBB) and will be presenting on the topic, "Advancing Youth Health via CANS Machine Learning" on Tuesday, June 28.
Prior to joining the institute, he was trained in Epidemiology and Biostatistics in Michigan State University (MSU), where his Ph.D. research focused on developing machine learning methods to jointly analyze high-dimensional medical imaging and genetic polymorphism data for complex diseases.
