SARP Connect with Melanie Baumann, SARP's new Executive Director.
She's spent 10+ years leading multi-ministry initiatives at Parks, Culture and Sport—the kind of work that requires equal parts strategic vision and political finesse. She's guided major organizational transformations, served on public sector boards, and earned her Master's in Kinesiology researching equity in sport for underrepresented communities.
She knows how to move big systems. She knows how to build coalitions. And she's bringing that lens to SARP.
She's also a lacrosse mom, a football mom, a runner who'd rather be at the lake than anywhere else. Someone who volunteers, loves to read, and says yes to adventure.
Which is to say: she gets it. She lives the recreation sector, not just leads it.
Want to hear her vision for where SARP is headed? Join us November 19th for SARP Connect.
