Comcast Awards 14 Twin Cities Businesses with RISE Award

Comcast recently awarded 14 businesses in the Twin Cities as Comcast RISE award recipient. The RISE program is a multi-year, multi-faceted initiative to help strengthen small businesses hardest hit by COVID-19. The first phase of Comcast RISE, focused on U.S. Black-owned, small businesses. Award recipients will receive one or more of the following business services: consulting, media and creative production services from Effectv, the advertising sales division of Comcast Cable, or technology upgrades from Comcast Business, based on the specific needs. Xcel Energy Pandemic and Civil Unrest Recovery Program

If your business is an Xcel Energy electric customer in Minnesota and saw an electric load decrease of 25% or more as a direct result of the pandemic or civil unrest, you may qualify for a 25% discount on the base energy and demand charges on your bill through from Jan. 1 through Aug. 31, 2021. Dakota County Waiving Liquor License Fees for 2021

In an effort to help small businesses, Dakota County is waiving liquor license fees for 2021. Our Board of Commissioners unanimously approved the waiver on Tuesday. The waiver applies to bars and event venues under the county’s jurisdiction. Learn more HERE.
