Do Your Part to Ensure Minnesota Businesses Stay Open.

Minnesotans, over the last four months, have sacrificed a lot to make sure businesses reopen in a safe and proper manner. With many businesses reopening with partial or full service we must continue to come together as a community to ensure that they stay open for the long haul. The easiest way that you can do your part is to follow the guidelines the State of Minnesota and the Department of Employment and Economic Development have created to ensure the safety of businesses and consumers. Though life seems to be getting back to normal, we must remember that COVID-19 still looms as a great threat to shutting down businesses again if we do not do our part as a community. To find out more information on how you can stay safe in social and business settings visit Stay Safe Minnesota for all the latest updates on preventive measures.
Understanding COVID-19 Preparedness Plans for Your Business

The Minnesota Chamber of Commerce is hosting a virtual webinar Tuesday, July 7, 2020 on how to put together a COVID-19 preparedness plan. The state requires businesses to have a COVID-19 preparedness plan in place. Many businesses are wondering what elements of health and safety need to be included in these plans. Nicole Blissenbach, Assistant Commissioner, Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry, will review many of the frequently asked questions and take your questions to ensure you are developing plans for a safe return to work for your employees and customers.
