DCR Chamber Hosting 2020 Election Candidate Forums for Five Races
The Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Velocity Public Affairs, will be hosting five election forums starting in late September. The DCR Chamber will be hosting a forum for the Dakota County Board of Commissioners/District 3, Minnesota House of Representatives 51B, Minnesota Senate District 58, City of Farmington Mayoral Race, and Minnesota Second’s Congressional District 2 races.
The Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce encourages individuals in the business community to be actively involved in the political process. We influence public policy decisions by offering programs that provide information in a business context for decision-makers.
The DCR Chamber is accepting questions ahead of time for the Forums. Questions submitted will be reviewed, and if timing permits, will be asked. Please submit questions to [email protected]

Brian Ryks, CEO and Executive Director for the Metropolitan Airports Commission, offers an update on the upgrades and enhancements currently underway at the Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport. He will also elaborate on the 1.7 billion dollar Capital Improvement Program that the Metropolitan Airports Commission is currently engaged in.
