Hear From Laura Sobiech at the 10th Annual WomEn's Leadership Forum
Join the Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce on Friday, April 9th at the 10th Annual WomEn’s Leadership Forum. You'll have the distinct pleasure of hearing from Laura Sobiech, mom of the late Zach Sobiech, writer and performer of the renowned song “Clouds.”

Let Laura be your storyteller of what Zach taught her through his shortened life, how together Laura and her family chose to live while a beloved family member was dying, and how there is gratitude and courage to be found in an imperfect life. Governor Walz Announces Eligibility Expansion For COVID-19 Vaccine
On Friday, March 27, 2021, Governor Tim Walz announced that all Minnesotans 16 years of age and older will be eligible for COVID-19 vaccination beginning Tuesday, March 30, 2021. The final eligibility expansion comes as the federal government has promised an increased supply of vaccine by April, and as Minnesota has become a national leader in getting shots into arms quickly.

This week Minnesota was ranked number one in the country for the percentage of vaccine doses administered to Minnesotans. The state has vaccinated 80% of our seniors, outperforming the nation, and has also vaccinated at least two-thirds of our school and child care personnel.”

The Clover Celebrates Opening With Ribbon Cutting
The Clover opened two weeks ago at the busy intersection of County Rd. 42 and Hwy. 3 in Rosemount. It's a fresh re-do of the former Rudy's Red Eye Grill, an American pub with Irish hospitality. There are light Irish touches in the decor, a healthy whiskey list, and fish 'n' chips on the menu, but the menu is diverse with burgers, roast beef sandwiches, and a super cool rice pudding with coconut and pickled mango. Happy hour is 2-6pm Monday-Friday and all day Sunday. Check it out HERE

Heightened tensions. Growing mistrust. Cancel culture. Communications have fundamentally changed over the past year, but the seeds were planted long before 2020. People today are isolated – which can cause social discomfort and division. But we’re also more engaged than ever with decisionmakers and have 24/7 access to platforms where our voices can be heard.

With so much noise, how can we rise above the fray to effectively advocate for our interests? Communications expert Jennifer Hellman, COO, Goff Public, will share how individuals and organizations can have a meaningful dialogue in these divided times and avoid the pitfalls of this fast-paced communications world.
