Mason District Supervisor Penelope Gross attended the July 16, 2022 open house retirement party for Wynne Busman and presented a Fairfax County Resolution to Wynne . This Resolution was passed unanimously by the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors to congratulate Wynne on her retirement and her 43 years of service to the community. It also highlighted Wynne’s long career in Early Childhood. Wynne began her career as a Family Childcare Educator in 1979. From 1989 to 1999, Wynne served as a Child Care Specialist with ITFDC. She was in the position of Associate Director from 1999-2011 and was appointed by the ITFDC Board of Directors to serve as the Executive Director of Infant Toddler Family Day Care from 2011-2022, retiring after 43 years of service. In addition, Wynne is a volunteer in the community in other ways. She currently is the Mason District Appointee to the Fairfax County Child Care Advisory Council, serves on the Northern Virginia Community College Advisory Board, and is a Co-President of the Bethesda Jewish Congregation. Congratulations on your retirement, Wynne and Thank you!

Farewell to our Child Care Specialist Coordinator/ Event Director!


Malia Anderson, ITFDC's Child Care Specialist Coordinator and Events Director is also retiring. Malia has been with Infant Toddler Family Day Care since 1986. Her long career with ITFDC began as a Child Care Provider from 1986 until 1992, an administrative assistant with ITFDC, a one-on-one training instructor, conducting in home training for the providers and later becoming a child care specialist in 1996. We wish you a happy retirement and thank you, Malia!
