So long to our Intern, Rudie Shotton!
Rudie Shotton will complete her internship at Infant Toddler Family Day Care this May as she graduates from GMU. "Over my two semesters with ITFDC, I have been able to improve my professional skills, time management and work on some projects that correspond with my major. Some of my projects have included: working on trainings with child care specialists, accompanying child care specialists on outdoor home visits, conducting a Zoom story-time mini-center, and working on my HDFS capstone project, Research-based findings have determined the importance of professional development on play-based learning for young children in child care. Not to mention, I’ve gotten to know a wonderful, helpful, and welcoming staff committed to upholding inspiring values! My internship at ITFDC has been an enriching experience and has contributed greatly to my educational journey."
