Pembroke Academy (now with hybrid offerings) | Feb 24
Like Mary and Joseph, we are filled with hope and joy, with love for the little one who will soon arrive.β― But, Holy One, we know that there are people who canβt celebrate this Christmas season.β― In the midst of our holiday cheer, help us to remember individuals and families who especially need your love.β― Help us to remember that, like that holy family so long ago, there are still people today who are forced to leave their homes, to travel long distances on foot, to flee from wars, earthquakes, floods and famine.β― Our hearts go out to them this day, Holy God.β― May they find a home, safety and comfort.β― May they be welcomed with open arms, compassion and understanding.β― And may we work toward a day when all shall live in peace.
