Homeless Shelter Survey

Workshop on April 3 rd
Council recently voted to extend for six months, the interim control ordinance relating to where a Men’s Homeless Shelter could be sited within the City of Bellevue.

Provide feedback on a homeless shelter land use code amendment now via this survey and attend a public workshop on April 3 rd, 5:30 – 7:30 PM at City Hall.
Help Decide What Transportation Projects Get Built
Are you wondering when congestion relief or safety projects are coming to your neighborhood? Attend one of three workshops this week on Bellevue’s 12-year Transportation Facilities Plan (TFP), including Tuesday, March 20, 5-7 PM at City Hall.

City Bike Share Program Close to Being on the Road
At last night’s Study Session, Council was briefed on a “dock-less bike share” program for Bellevue. As proposed, a private vendor could rent out up to 400 electronic-assist or “e-bikes” citywide. Watch the discussion and let the council know what you think.

Reducing congestion on Bellevue Way SE has been a Chamber priority for over a decade. Provide feedback on the proposed Bellevue Way SE project, at a community open house on Thursday, April 5, 5:30 – 7:30 PM at Enatai School.

Advocacy in Action - Your Voice Matters: Paid Family & Medical Leave Law
Last year, the Legislature adopted the Paid Family & Medical Leave law. The program is mandatory for all firms with 50 or more employees and will be administered by the state Employment Security Department.

You can provide feedback in this brief survey.

46.9 Million Annual Passengers Breaks Another Record at Sea-Tac International Airport
For the seventh consecutive year, passenger travel at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport has set a record.

Demand for air travel at Sea-Tac Airport increased 41 percent the last five years, rising from 33.2 million passengers in 2012 to 46.9 million passengers in 2017.

Do a "Paycheck Checkup" with New Tax Calculator

The Internal Revenue Service released an updated Withholding Calculator and a new version of Form W-4 to help taxpayers check their 2018 tax withholding following passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act in December. The IRS encourages employees to use the Withholding Calculator to perform a quick “paycheck checkup.”
