The Bellevue Chamber is a catalyst for sustainable growth within the local business community. We provide information, access, connections and resources to position you and your team for business success!
Saving Your Workforce Time
The Bellevue Chamber has been actively involved in changing old rules so your employees can have flexibility and have more shared vehicle options. The number one challenge we hear from employers of all sizes is that transportation is a nightmare. The search for housing affordability has led our workforce to commute from all over the 405 crescent from Snohomish to Kent. Having more flexible options allows people to get to established transportation centers more easily. The Chamber has been working on these solutions with the ACES (Autonomous, Connected, Electric and Shared) NW Network. ACES co-founders published this op-ed in Sunday’s Seattle Times.

Operating Levies

While the Legislature adopted a basic education funding package in 2017, it won’t take full effect for another couple of years. That means local schools still need levies to help fund vital programs, to prepare our students for a global economy.

Bellevue Blitz:
Bills We're Watching

In a short 60-Day Legislative Session, the pace is always fast and furious, and this year is no exception. As Day 30 nears on February 6, bills of importance to the Eastside business community are still alive.

The Business Lunch: Meet Bellevue's New Mayor
John Chelminiak

February 15, 2018 | 12-1:30 pm
Westin Bellevue

There’s a new Mayor in town, elected by the Bellevue City Council to lead the City through 2019. Mayor John Chelminiak will share his forecast for the near term and look at the long-term view – highlighting strategies needed to ensure the City continues its robust economic growth. As a business leader, come to meet the Mayor and gain an understanding of how the business community can be a pro-active partner in the future of Bellevue.
Advocacy in Action

Each month, Chamber members meet to discuss important business issues. Members recently endorsed legislation to extend existing tax incentives for data center development statewide. Upcoming Public Affairs topics include an update on transportation projects funded by Bellevue Prop 2 and the future of the Bellevue Way SE project. This month, in lieu of our regular meeting, we invite you to our February 15 Business Lunch with Mayor Chelminiak.
