11 new companies are being launched this year through the Bellevue Young Entrepreneurs Academy. YEA! middle and high school students will pitch their business plans. You have the opportunity to help fund their companies through the Bellevue Chamber Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization!

The Young Entrepreneurs Academy is a groundbreaking educational program that takes students in grades six through twelve through the process of starting and running real businesses over the course of a full academic year.

Just last week, the Chamber Board affirmed its strong endorsement of Communities United for Reliable Energy. CURE is a grass-roots group of citizens who support Puget Sound Energy's Energize Eastside Project. Legislative Update - State Budget
With three weeks left in the Regular Session, competing budget proposals have emerged. The Senate has proposed a 2017-19 operating budget of $43.3 billion - that's up $4.6 billion from the current biennium. Meanwhile, the House budget weighs in at just over 44 billion, an increase of $ 6.4 billion.
