Eastside Elected Officials Reception
a Resounding Success!

Thanks to all who helped make the 2016 Eastside Elected Officials Reception one of the best ever! A jovial crowd of Chamber Members and their guests joined elected officials for an evening of holiday cheer perfect for conversation and connections.

A special shout out to the following elected officials who attended and were recognized: WA State Representatives Judy Clibborn and Tana Senn, from the 41st District; King County Councilmember Kathy Lambert; Bellevue Mayor John Stokes, Deputy Mayor John Chelminiak, Councilmember Conrad Lee and Councilmember Lynne Robinson; Issaquah Councilmember Bill Ramos; Redmond Council President Hank Margeson, Councilmember Hank Myers and Councilmember John Stilin; and Sammamish Mayor Don Gerend.

2017-18 Budget
After several months of deliberation and public testimony, the Bellevue City Council adopted a 2017-18 Operating Budget and 2017-23 Capital Improvement Program. This year, the Chamber focused its input on the Operating side; click below to learn our general observations.

The Port of Seattle will host a half-day opportunity workshop for local, small and disadvantaged business owners, on January 13, 2017, focusing on dining and and retail business opportunities at Sea-Tac Airport. The Port is seeking businesses to develop, operate, partner or support more than 60 airport dining and retail leases coming up for renewal over the next three years.
