Elegant Solutions
Recognizing the world is getting more complex and moving faster - this often pressures us to reach for fast solutions that might not be the best. Eastside Annual Dinner keynote speaker Matthew E. May prodded and encouraged attendees to step outside their comfort zone and to reach for elegant solutions to problems and challenges.

Happy 70th Birthday
Bellevue Chamber!

70 years ago a group of business people got together to form the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce. We thank them and all who've come after for their dedication to the business community. Things have changed over the years, but one thing has remained constant - our passion for helping businesses of all types and sizes succeed.

We've Got a Feeling - It's Gonna Be a Great Year!
We had the best 70th Birthday Celebration we could imagine! Innovation strategist Matthew E. May walked us through Winning the Brain Game, and we experienced the augmented reality of Microsoft HoloLens, and were entertained by live music from the Bellevue School of Rock! Chamber Board Backs Bellevue Ballot Measures
Bellevue is growing and so is the demand for essential public facilities in every corner of the City.  Consequently, the Chamber Board has voted to endorse both Bellevue Proposition One and Proposition Two - relating to fire services and transportation. Learn more about the ballot measures and how to get involved with the YES campaign.

Policy Committees Turn Attention to Budget Review
The Bellevue City Manager's proposed biennial budget is on its way - come to Chamber policy committee meetings this month and find out what's inside. First, we'll focus on Utilities rates and capital expenditures, followed by the Transportation CIP, the General CIP and Operating Budget.

Your Small Business Team
As a banker, I'm often approached by entrepreneurs just starting out who ask: Who are the must-have counselors to help launch and sustain my new venture. Most of the time, my answer is: an attorney who can guide you through the legal process; a CPA who will ensure your financials and taxes are correct and an insurance agent who can help safeguard your enterprise. Finally, of course, a banker you can trust who will collaborate with you about solutions to help grow and sustain your business.
