Chamber Board Announces Position on Sound Transit 3
After months of review by Chamber policy committees and a pro/con debate, the Bellevue Chamber Board of Directors has announced it will not support the ST3 ballot measure this November. The Board remains committed to multi-modal transportation solutions, but recommends we fund basic education first and then come back for another look at additional regional high capacity transit investments.

The Power Behind the
Bellevue Chamber

I have realized how much our Chamber has grown and changed even in this past year. We still have a lot of important work to do together and can do so with combined leadership and the pursuit of common goals. The power behind the Chamber is just that - all of us working together to better ourselves, our business and our community - and for that I thank you!

Policy Committees Turn Attention to Bellevue Budget and Tax Issues
Earlier this spring, the Chamber gave preliminary support for a proposed levy in support of neighborhood safety and connectivity improvements.  The Council has voted to place that measure on the ballot, along with a fire services levy and it is now it is time to take a closer look. Check out the committee meetings to learn more and weigh in.

Bringing Teams Together
Recently, Foundation Bank became Pacific Continental Bank. We are now a much larger organization with the two teams coming together. It's never easy to blend cultures, but I've found three keys to having a successful integration: 1.) Don't fight change. Every business needs to evolve and grow, and change is the engine. 2.) Be proactive. Waiting for things to happen stunts the process and ramps up anxiety. 3.) Celebrate milestones. Make sure your people see the benefits of the integration by having fun during the journey.
