The Business Lunch: The REI Story
What began as a group of 23 mountain climbing buddies is now the nation's largest consumer cooperative. Now, REI is on the move - their corporate HQ is coming to Bellevue's Spring District. REI's Chief Creative Officer, Ben Steele leads the co-op's marketing efforts, brand strategy and creative expression. He's a master storyteller who will share how the REI brand is evolving to support a growing community of more than 16 million members and 150 stores in 36 states.

Eastside Legislators Discuss Business Issues at Coalition Legislative Wrap-Up
Against the backdrop of Mount Si, over 70 Eastside business leaders packed the Club at Snoqualmie Ridge, for the 2017 East King Chambers Coalition legislative wrap-up. Eastside Business Alliance Endorses Candidates for Bellevue City Council  
The Eastside Business Alliance (EBA) announced endorsements in two highly competitive Bellevue City Council races. Following multiple interviews and much discussion, EBA has chosen to endorse Phillip Yin for Position 5 and Steven Fricke for Position 6. Outside Sales Reps Spend More Time Selling Remotely
The gap is closing between outside sales reps who once sold in the field by traveling to a customer's location and those who sit back at the office and contact a client remotely. The data comes mostly from larger enterprise firms but should also be of interest to small businesses without the resources to spend on expensive sales trips all over the world.
