The Guild is wrapping up the year in style! It's been a busy month as we've rolled out this year's annual report and hosted holiday celebrations across the adult and youth programs. There have been many joyous moments to celebrate this year at The Guild. Thank you for being a part of our community! We wish you a happy and healthy holiday season.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our mission in this past year! Your generous support helps The Guild achieve remarkable outcomes.

2023-24 annual report

This past year has been one of growth, development, and continuous learning for students, residents, and staff. We supported the most individuals served in our 72-year history, made improvements to clinical services, offered more community-based opportunities, and shared our learning across multiple regional and national conferences.

Our annual report showcases remarkable accomplishments across The Guild and highlights our on-going resolve to create a future that honors the abilities and needs of those we serve.

International Human Rights Day

Human rights are a top priority for The Guild. In addition to our many trainings, a human rights officer is assigned to each wing of the school and each residence. Our human rights committee that meets at least quarterly to discuss approaches and outcomes. We shared more about this for International Human Rights Day on Tuesday, December 10.

DJ's Holiday Smiles

The Guild is one of a few lucky organizations to benefit from DJ's Holiday Smiles. The group works with The Guild staff to select personalized gifts for more than 60 individuals. Thank you to DJ's Holiday Smiles for the generous support! They will certainly bring smiles to many faces this year.

Holiday parties

The adult residences have each been hosting their own holiday parties. They have welcomed family, friends, and staff to celebrate the season!

Spirit week at The Guild School

Ahead of our winter intersession break, students enjoyed a festive week of activities. The Adaptive Physical Education department lead a classroom door decorating contest, edible tree decorating, caroling, and a cozy movie with treats. We even had a special guest come by the school!
