It's been a busy November here at The Guild! We kicked off the month with our annual adult awards ceremonies to celebrate adult residents' achievements and progress over the past year. Later in the month, we hosted a COVID-19 booster vaccination clinic with our community pharmacy partner, Pelmeds. Other events included the arrival of The Guild's annual report, a student graduation celebration, and catching up with our student-led cooking groups. Read on for more news from The Guild:
The Guild honors adult residents
Earlier this month, we honored adult residents' achievements and progress made over the past year with our annual awards day celebrations! Ceremonies took place virtually on Tuesday, 11/2 and Thursday, 11/4 this year.
Congratulations to Jesse P.!
We'd like to congratulate Jesse P. on his graduation this month from The Guild school! "It's been amazing to watch Jesse grow into the young man he is now. We're excited for all of the things he's going to do," says one Guild staff member. View photos here.
The Guild cooks up a storm
After taking a brief hiatus due to COVID-19, The Guild's cooking groups are back! Students have been serving up everything from mac n' cheese and pigs-in-a-blanket to brownies and Rice Krispy treats, all while learning valuable cooking and kitchen safety skills. Meet Benji M., Pine House's new manager
This month, we'd like to congratulate Guild staff member Benji Menard on his recent promotion to Pine House Manager. Benji has been with The Guild for five years, having served in a variety of capacities. We sat down with Benji to learn more about his professional journey. Read the Q&A here.
