            Dear HSA Families,

            If you’ve ever picked up your child after a disappointment and didn’t know what to say, you’ll recognize this moment.

            When Gabrielle auditioned for a program at her school and didn’t get in, her mother Tiffany picked her up, looked at her daughter’s face, and prayed. A few weeks later, an email arrived. Gabrielle had been accepted to Harlem School of the Arts’ Prep Program.

            None of this is accidental. Your contribution directly leads to sustained investment in faculty who go far beyond their job descriptions, in programs that stay tuition-free by design, in an environment where young people can fully develop as both artists and citizens of the future.

            Priceless — but not free. HSA’s fiscal year closes June 30. We are asking parents and guardians, those that see the results up close, to help make it possible for the next family.
