Off the Leash ~ Student Web Magazine ~ 1st Articles of the year!
SRHS Journalism is proud to present the first batch of stories by this year's OTL staff. I am very comfortable saying that I'm working with some of the most dogged and thoughtful reporters and writers of the publication's short history. It's a large class, and there are some students not quite coming through yet, but the stories published are really good. And better because students have reported them while practicing some degree of social distancing. I invite you to read some.  Off The Leash!

Kindness Club Challenge
Kindness Challenge Week #15
This week's challenge is all about self-care. September is suicide prevention month which is how we selected this challenge. Please take some time these 2 weeks to care for yourself. We all know how stressful life is right now. Some things you can do to relax are...
- have a spa day at home,
- watch a (new) movie,
- eat your favorite meal,
- take a walk and appreciate nature while getting some exercise,
- read that book you've been wanting to read,
- listen to a guided meditation and breathe,
- stretch and/or practice yoga,
- set up a weekly TGIF/bookclub/ dance party zoom with your friends and/or family,
- or whatever you do to practice self-care!
DM @srhskindnessclub on Instagram or email mrodriguez@srcs.org with your stories - we want to see how you practice self kindness.
