Ozone House’s
THE EDUCATION PROJECT
(in partnership with WISD), ensures that students affected by homelessness enroll, attend, and succeed in school. Last year The Education Project helped 1,154 students in Washtenaw County.
The Education Project will supply holiday gifts to approximately 500 students identified by the Washtenaw County schools this holiday season.

Interested In Becoming a Volunteer Crisis Line Counselor?
|
Ozone House is seeking passionate volunteers to respond to crisis phone calls, texts and live chats.
Why volunteer?
- Make a difference to young people in crisis in our community
- Gain excellent crisis intervention training and experience
- Be part of an organization that advocates for youth and their families
- Meet other volunteers with the same interests
- Learn about social justice
Crisis Line counselors listen and provide critical information, referrals, and crisis intervention to youth and families struggling with such issues as family conflict, runaway episodes, homelessness, suicide, abuse and neglect, domestic violence, sexual orientation and gender identity, and other crises.
Crisis Line Volunteers counselors complete a 40-hour training. Once completed,
volunteers commit to one 4-hour shift per week for 8+ months

Our HOME SWEET HOME event is
February 12, 2019
at Greyline in Ann Arbor. Help us celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and raise awareness around the disproportional amount of homeless youth that identify as LGBTQ+. More details to follow in January.
