There are still two performances left in the Lincoln Square BID’s FREE Summer Jazz Sensations concert series. Join us tomorrow at Noon in Dante Park for a performance by the Mala Waldron Quartet. There will be cold drinks and light fare from Le Botaniste available for purchase while supplies last at this concert. Our last performance will be on Wednesday, August 31, with a performance by the Eric Person Quartet. There will be refreshing and tasty treats from Rosa Mexicano available for purchase while supplies last.

According to the CDC, the current COVID-19 community level in New York City is HIGH. The CDC recommends masking indoors in public and on public transportation, as well as staying up to date with COVID-19 vaccines. Fordham University Student Move-In: Road Closures on Sunday, August 28, and Tuesday, August 30

On Sunday, August 28, from 7am-9pm, 62nd Street between Columbus and Amsterdam will be closed. 60th Street between Columbus and Amsterdam will be closed from Sunday, August 28, through Tuesday, August 30, from 7am-9pm. There will be a 15-foot travel lane for residents, patrons, deliveries, and emergency vehicles. Fordham University security officers will be posted at each end of the closed streets. 

20th Precinct Sector A Build the Block Meeting Rescheduled for Tuesday, August 30

Come meet your Neighborhood Coordination Officers and discuss your public safety concerns. Build the Block meetings are a great opportunity to talk about neighborhood safety, make sure your concerns are heard, and have your questions answered. Join the 20th Precinct in sharing responsibility for the neighborhood that you live in. This program is an opportunity to create direct communication and compromise, establishing respectful and ongoing relationships that help New Yorkers co-exist peacefully in their communities while ensuring that small businesses thrive. MEND NYC helps New Yorkers address issues in their neighborhood that may include: quality-of-life issues between residents and businesses, negotiation between commercial tenants and landlords, and neighboring business to business misunderstandings. In accordance with Section 1-13 of the Concession Rules of the City of New York, the Department of Parks and Recreation ("Parks") is issuing a non-significant RFP for the operation and maintenance of two (2) bookstalls and related tables at Fifth Avenue between East 60th and 61st Streets, Central Park, Manhattan. The operation will be for the sale of books and related merchandise only.
