Honoring Our Veterans

We took time out to honor our veterans at Pathway to Living’s supportive living communities for their service and sacrifice on Veterans Day.

Roarin’ Good Time
Victory Centre of South Chicago residents re-visited the Roaring Twenties to celebrate a period of economic prosperity in full regalia. They were photo-ready and briefly removed their masks to safely capture individual picture to preserve the glamorous moment.

Hip, Hip Holiday Parades

Two Pathway to Living communities hosted very different looking but equally fun Thanksgiving parades!
While staying socially distanced with face masks, Victory Centre of Bartlett residents waved to their families in a drive-by parade before enjoying their Thanksgiving holiday feast! We were also thrilled to collect donations for Hanover Township’s food pantry and Toys for Tots.
Before enjoying a homemade Thanksgiving feast, Victory Centre of Sierra Ridge residents enjoyed a twist on the holiday parade with team members parading down the hallway in costumes. Even a few residents dressed up!

Oh, So Thankful!
Elmer from Alexian Village is thankful for…ice cream!
Oak Hill Supportive Living residents are a grateful bunch too.

Addressing Concerns About Moving to
Even though the time may be right to explore senior living, many older adults are delaying a move during the pandemic, and may not know that, even in these challenging times, Pathway to Living communities continue to welcome and safely move in new residents.

Learn how the benefits of moving to senior living may outweigh the challenges.

Holiday Card Design Winner!
Congratulations to Elaine from Azpira at Windermere for winning Pathway to Living’s annual holiday card design contest! Elaine picked up her first paint brush and discovered her panache for painting just three years ago when she joined Azpira’s weekly painting classes. Elaine says that she is inspired by her neighbor and mentor Ruby and other fellow Azpira artists.

Temporary and permanent positions are available.
