Every year, the BBA recognizes three significant contributions in three different categories at the BBA Annual Dinner & Membership Meeting:

contributions to the community, promotion of a positive image
for Burlington, and business success." Established in 2002,
originally as the Small Business Award.

Tim Halvorson Award: The Tim Halvorson Award for
Business Person of the Year seeks to recognize a local
businessperson who presents the combination of being a
business leader whose work has promoted the economic
vitality of Burlington and who has devoted their time, energy
and resources to the betterment of the Burlington community.

Hertzel Pasackow Architectural Excellence Award: "For

Church Street Marketplace

BBA December Member Highlight
It certainly doesn't feel like December in Vermont.
The warmer temperatures are a great excuse to get out and enjoy the newly renovated bike path and beautiful, new world class skatepark on the northern waterfront this holiday season.

Thank you Burlington Parks & Rec for making Burlington such a great place to live, work, & play!
BBA Partners with the Vermont Economic Conference
The BBA is a proud marketing partner with the Vermont Economic Conference: Mapping Our Economic Future. We encourage BBA members to attend on behalf of the business community.

The event is designed to provide a solid economic foundation for attendees to use in their daily work. This year's conference will explore local economic issues with a national perspective, an outlook of state trends, and  a dashboard of economic indicators to further the conversation about Vermont's economic future.

The conference will take place on Friday, January 8th from 8:30am-2:00pm at the Sheraton Burlington.
