Donors & Granters- The Sam and Reba Sandler Family Foundation
Many hardworking philanthropic groups in our community raise funds by hosting big events. Whether it's a gala, an oyster roast, or a fishing tournament; many donors were forced to cancel the events that fund their charitable giving. After postponing twice, the Sandler Family Foundation reluctantly conceded that hosting their annual golf tournament was simply not safe. But the Sandler team refused to disappoint the charities they believe in. They rolled up their sleeves, picked up the phone, and began rallying their colleagues and vendors. We'd be remiss if we didn't mention John Barnes, Perry Hohman, and Lynn Easton, who led the uphill charge.

Steve and Art Sandler inherited their sense of social responsibility from their parents Sam and Reba. They are passionate about giving and supporting causes that promote understanding and acceptance. FACT is humbled and proud to be among the many non-profits they support. Over the past sixteen years, the Sandler Family Foundation has contributed over half a million dollars. This year alone, the foundation was able to donate $40,000; and this was an "off" year. We are beyond grateful to the Sandlers, their employees,
Movers and Shakers- our Autism Advocates
Executive Director Tyler Williamson, outgoing director Pam Vogle, and Program Supervisor Jessie Pitts hosted a Facebook live fundraiser to promote the Autism Advocates planned giving program.

Giving Tuesday is an international day to celebrate and support the charities that impact our lives and communities in so many positive ways. This year, FACT's staff, led by our new Executive Director Tyler Williamson, launched an annual giving campaign on Facebook Live.
The goal was to recruit fifty "Autism Advocates" who would commit to giving $10 or more, per month, for a year. By early evening we had thirty benefactors who had signed up for monthly giving. If you didn't have a chance to sign up, the opportunity is always available at the FACT website. The FACT team is truly grateful for the generosity of all our Autism Advocates. Here are some of the wonderful folks who stepped up to support us:
Kevin Woods
Laura Fahey
Patrick Boland
Craig Zeigler
ALM Lawn Management
Sonora Braun

Christine Tsai
Nash Bilisoly
Luke Warnock
Special Thanks to our Matching Donors, the Williamson Family
Gotta Love this Kid- Aaron Rolon
To be clear, Aaron is not a kid. He's a bright, charismatic, and compassionate young man. Aaron has been participating in a wide variety of FACT programs for many years. He is beloved by staff, volunteers, and fellow campers because of his positive attitude. We could go on and on about our friend Aaron, but decided to let him speak for himself.
