Dear Friend of Jungle Friends,

It feels like déjà vu—the last time we sent a hurricane update, another storm was on the horizon… and here we are again. Tropical Storm Erin is spinning in the Atlantic and could grow into a major hurricane in 2–3 days.


Fun fact (by “fun,” we mean “slightly terrifying”): this is the SEVENTH storm named “ERIN”!


August 11 marks the peak of hurricane season. That means we must prepare for the most dangerous part of the season. 2025 is expected to be busier than usual—forecasts say 17–25 storms, 8–13 hurricanes, and up to 7 major hurricanes. Abby looks nervous!
