We are currently working on updating our Chamber Discover Batesville Guide. We realize many of our local events have been delayed or cancelled. The Indiana Department of Health has established a color-coded county map that measures weekly cases per 100,000 residents and the 7-day positivity rate for all tests completed. Each county is assigned a color based on the average of scores for the two metrics, and the map is updated each Wednesday at www.coronavirus.in.gov.

The Indiana Department of Health has provided the following guidelines to inform local decision-making. The guidelines should be used when counties are in yellow, orange or red status for at least 14 days. The state health commissioner may impose actions when a county is in red status for at least 14 days.

Communities should use the County Metrics Map to make decisions about their businesses, community and social activities.
