 Tons of Fish Caught This Week at the Sea Hag!
Folks participated in the first Casting For Christ Fishing Tournament this weekend! The results are below! More pictures from the tournament will be on our Facebook page. 
Our customers & captains also slayed the fish this week! Come see what it's all about! 
Troutzilla caught in Steinhatchee by Nico Deese!
The City Electric Company from Atlanta, GA, had a blast reeling in redfish, trout, Spanish mackerel and flounder with Capt. Leslie Hernandez, Capt. Mike Duttenhaver, Capt. Max Leatherwood and Capt. Connor McKinnon!
Michael Roper caught this 28 inch, 7lb, trout while fishing around Big Grassy Island!
Keith Gober landed this over-slot redfish while fishing in the tournament on Saturday!
The Chattanooga Steinhatchee Fishing team slayed the vermillion snapper, scamp grouper & amberjack with Capt. Chase Norwood and his first mate, Zach Bunkley!
Mike Taylor went fishing with Capt. Leslie Hernandez where he landed this multi-spotted redfish!
City Electric Company from Atlanta, GA, went fishing a second day and did not disappoint! Their four captain team put them on the redfish, trout & Spanish mackerel!  
Franklin Ford reeled in a 25 1/4 inch redfish with Capt. Scott Peters!

Ken Sink caught & released multiple gag grouper with Capt. Chase Norwood!
The Sink crew didn't have to release these red grouper though! They had a blast with Capt. Chase Norwood!
It was a busy day on the water with Zach, Phillip and the rest of their crew! The took a combined trip with Capt. Scott Peters and a handful of other captains!
Kenneth Hendricks landed an awesome redfish with Capt. Kyle Skipper!

Daniel learned how to drive the boat, bait his hook and cast the rod himself with Capt. Leslie Hernandez!
Zach & Phillip enjoyed a day fishing with Capt. Scott Peters! Their kids hopped in the picture and were excited to see all the trout, redfish & Spanish mackerel they came back with!
Reid Hix landed a perfect redfish on the flats!
Clay Harper, his son, Clayton, and their friend, Wesley Paulk Fitzgerald, from Georgia, slammed the trout with Capt. Max Leatherwood!
Shelby Skipper is ready for her next boat trip!
Karly Richardson and her crew caught a couple nice redfish wade-fishing at Hagens Cove!

Scott Hudson and Dave Watson caught a few trout, redfish & flounder for dinner!
The Steinhatchee Mini Rays Teeball Team ended their season yesterday and the Lil Rays Teeball Team will finish next Thursday! The first time in well over 10 years that Steinhatchee has had a teeball team, let alone two teams! How awesome!

The Hag, Danielle Norwood, snuck off after church and landed this short and out-of-season gag grouper. She was quite sad about that!
Skylar Hannah took home 1st Place Redfish with her 7.67lb fish in the Casting for Christ Tournament!
1st Place Redfish prize was $1,000!
Michael Aman won 1st Place Trout at 6.89lbs & 29 inches!
1st Place Trout prize was $2,000!
Lucas Bethea took home 2nd Place Redfish at 7.59lbs!
These guys were all smiles with their winning check!
Jason Witherspoon won 2nd Place Trout at 5.31lbs and also won the $250 Sea Tow Prize!
2nd Place Trout prize was $500!
Logan Rust was the 3rd Place Trout winner with his 4.05lb fish!
3rd Place Trout prize was $250!
Matthew Rogers, age 10, won the Largest Kids Redfish category with his 5.15lb fish!

Andy Rosen, Jim McDowell, John Bruce, Myron Szczukowski, Ian Bruce & Dan Rosen had a great day reeling in trout & redfish with Capt. Cindy & Capt. Steve Graham!
Jamie Driggers said he was back at the docks by 8:45am the other day after reeling in redfish after redfish!

The Madison Georgia Crew slayed the trout, redfish, rabbitfish & flounder with a multi-captain trip! They went with Capt. Kyle Skipper, Capt. Chase Norwood, Capt. Leslie Hernandez & Capt. Mike Duttenhaver!
The Palmer C. Hodges Scholarship was started in honor of our dear friend, Palmer. Two $500 scholarships will be awarded this June. 
To enter: high school students are to write a 1000 word or less essay on: family, friends, fishing, or faith. Essay must contain at least one of these topics, but may contain all. You do not have to include all topics to be chosen.
At the bottom of your essay include these 7 items:
1. A simple statement on how you intend to use the scholarship money, or how it may help you.

6. Male or Female (we are giving 2 scholarships this year)

Our hearts are broken for Rex and Brody Reinhart who tragically lost their lives this week. Our prayers are with their mother, family and friends. May God bring peace and be with them during this difficult time. Rex and Brody had a passion for baseball and enjoyed fishing. They were a part of the Elite Baseball League who host annual fishing tournaments here at the Sea Hag Marina.
Elite Baseball directors said, "Near and far, these boys were immensely loved across organizations. Brody had the heart of a lion, and Rex's determination to be the best on the field was unrivaled. We feel utterly lost and broken. At this time we ask that you pray for Rex's and Brody's mother, Minde, and the many players that loved and played alongside them."
