PRESENTER: IDA WADSWORTH, LPC, NCC
Ida Wadsworth is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor. She is a member is Chi-Sigma Iota Honor Society and several professional organizations including the American Counseling Association, National Board of Certified Counselors, the Military and Government and Counseling Association and the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision. She is currently attending Argosy University in Atlanta pursuing a doctorate in Counseling Education and Supervision. Ida owns her own counseling practice that specializes in trauma informed care in Fort Payne Alabama and works closely with the courts for probate commitments. Additionally, she provides services in the county with the local Sheriff's department and various other police agencies. Additionally, she is certified in brain-based hypnotherapy and EMDR. She uses an integrative approach to counseling that incorporates existentialism and cognitive behavioral therapy.
