’Twas the night before Christmas, and all through the towns,
Not a child went hungry, not a face wore a frown;
For stockings were brimming with new toys and delight,
Thanks to the ACO North Pole Elves that worked magic each night.
The children slept soundly, with full tummies in bed,
Thanks to the ACO Food Pantry, their bellies well-fed;
While parents, once weary and burdened with care,
Found peace in the warmth that now filled their own air.
For families were nestled, secure in their homes,
No fear of eviction, no late-night unknowns;
No threats of cold nights with utilities gone—
Just comfort and safety to keep carrying on.
They dreamed about futures that felt within reach:
Of GED classes and goals that ACO Staff could teach;
Of job training pathways and budgeting skills,
And interview coaching to help reach new hills.
They pictured good jobs with far better pay,
A fresh, hopeful start in the bright year ahead—2026 on its way.
And as the stars twinkled o’er Collin County that night,
The whole scene was glowing in soft, gentle light;
For all of these blessings, both steady and true,
That were all made possible because of you—
With donors who give from both wallet and mind,
And volunteers offering their hearts and their time,
Together you lifted each family in need,
And made Christmas magic a promise of new hope indeed.
One more thing, dear friends, before we bid you goodnight—
To keep this hope shining, to keep futures bright,
Please remember year-end gifts before midnight, Dec. 31st,
Whether mailed with warm wishes or online in a burst.
Mail or deliver donations to 801 E. Main Street, Allen, TX 75002,
Or visit www.acocares.org to help dreams come true.
For with every gift shared and every heart moved to care,
ACO spreads Christmas magic all through the year.
And finally, from the ACO Staff and our Board of Directors too—
We wish the warmest, happiest holidays to each and every one of you.
