Stuff the Bus Returns! July 16th-18th
United Way is excited to announce that their 15th Annual Stuff the Bus will return to in-person volunteering at Hernando’s eight Publix Stores on Friday, July 16th, Saturday, July 17th, and Sunday, July 18th. Over the course of the Stuff the Bus weekend, teachers and volunteers will be advocating for local classroom needs and collecting school supplies from 11am-5pm.
All of the items collected by generous donors will be distributed back to the teachers who volunteered their time for this event in order to help prepare incoming students to be ready to learn and succeed in school. Check out last year's results during the pandemic!
In addition to the in-person event this summer, United Way is hosting a virtual giving component on Roonga!

Hernando Businesses... Do You Accept the Challenge?!
June kicks off United Way's Annual BUSINESS BLITZ CHALLENGE. All month long, UW is challenging local companies to give back and help meet their goal of raising $10,000! All donations remain local and will be invested back into the Health, Education, and Financial Stability of Hernando County residents.

United Way understands that both consumers and employers are seeking ways to make a difference and take pride in being a part of the solution. By giving back to United Way, businesses are not only investing in their community, but they are investing in their employees, their neighbors, and their family and friends.
Thank you to the companies who have already #AcceptedTheChallenge!
