We have happy news!

We have officially named our campus on the eastside of Albuquerque the Frances Thaxton Ash Campus! In a serendipitous turn, the announcement came exactly twenty-one years after welcoming our first four families at Saranam on February 24, 2004.

Frances Thaxton Ash was a long-time community member who dedicated her life's work to helping families experiencing homelessness in her hometown. We are so proud to honor her incredible gift that allowed Saranam to take flight. Frances' dream is a testament to the impact that one person's compassion can make on a community.

Dreaming of Home Breakfast

Each year we gather to introduce Saranam and the spectacular transformations our families achieve to new friends at our Dreaming of Home Breakfast. Our goal for this event is to share our work and mission with community members who are not aware of Saranam. If you are interested in attending and bringing new people to Saranam reach out to Dianne Campbell for more details.

We're Hiring!

We are looking for an Alumni Coordinator and Office Manager.

The Alumni Coordinator role is to develop and facilitate alumni programming and financial coaching for families that have exited the program. The Officer Manager is responsible for handling multiple administrative and office management functions. Link below for full job descriptions.

Three cheers for...

Beautiful paintings! We want to thank our volunteer, Jodi Haltom, for sharing her wonderful talents and thoughtfulness. She created custom paintings for our kids inspired by their favorites things- with everything from Barbie to sports teams.

Pampering the Babies

Thank you to the children and parents at Manzano Day School for collecting baby supplies. From lotions, wipes, and diapers- they collected items the little ones need every day at Saranam.

🚲Ding, Ding!

We'd like to thank a special donor and bicycle connoisseur, Steve Echols! Children, ages three to sixteen, received a bike at the FTA Campus. His passion is to refurbish bikes and give them to children and adults. Thank you, Steve!

Decorator Virtual Meetings

Are you interested in learning more about how to set up the stunning homes our families live in? Join one of these informational meetings being held via Zoom!

Decorators use furniture and household goods donated from the community throughout the year to create rooms and spaces that are welcoming, functional, and beautiful for new families.
