Benjamin, NYC Councilman Bill Perkins, NYS Senator Marisol Alcantara, NYS Assemblywoman Carmen De La Rosa, Willie Mays's son Michael Mays, Mario F. Alioto, Executive Vice President for the San Francisco Giants, Jacob Morris, Director of Harlem Historical Society, family and friends - among others - to unveil "Willie Mays Drive" in honor of Hall of Fame Willie Mays, known as one of the greatest baseball players of all time.
This prominent ceremony celebrating Willie Mays's life and contributions to New York, and to commemorate the 63rd anniversary of "The Catch" he made in the 1954 World Series.
